You watch the news. You feel the frustration. You want to DO something but giving to organizations you don't really know doesn't feel like enough. And going it alone means your dollars don't go nearly as far as they could.
What if you could give smarter, give together, and actually see the impact?

Here's what most well-meaning givers experience:
-
You donate to a cause after seeing something heartbreaking in the news - and then wonder how your support created impact.
-
You want to support organizations doing real work, but you have no idea how to evaluate them.
-
You give here and there, but it feels scattered - like it doesn't add up to anything meaningful.
-
You want to be part of something bigger, but philanthropy feels like it's only for the ultra-wealthy.
And the organizations doing the most important work? They're out there - underfunded, under-the-radar, and desperately looking for donors like you.
I saw the disconnect
In my work, I kept having the same two conversations.
On one side: nonprofit leaders doing extraordinary, innovative work — solving real problems in real communities — who couldn't get in front of the right donors.
On the other side: people with generous hearts and real resources who desperately wanted to fund meaningful work — but had no idea how to find trustworthy organizations or give in a way that actually moved the needle.
They were looking for each other. And no one was connecting them.
I also saw something else: when people give together, the impact is exponential. A community of givers pooling their attention, their resources, and their voices doesn't just write a check — it creates a movement.
And I saw one more thing: most people don't know HOW to give smart. They react to the news, feel helpless, and donate impulsively — without understanding the problem, the solution, or whether the organization they're funding is actually effective.
That frustration is real. And it's fixable.
That's why I created Do Good on Purpose — the podcast, the newsletter, and the Giving Circle.
Not to tell you what to care about. But to give you the education, the community, and the trusted connections to give with total confidence — and actually feel the impact.
Dorothy Stuehmke, Founder, Do Good on Purpose

Giving together changes everything.
When you give alone, your $25 is $25.When 100 people give $25 together, that's $2,500 — enough to fund a program, support a staff member, or launch an initiative that wouldn't exist otherwise.
But collective giving isn't just about the money. It's about signal. When a community shows up for an organization together, it tells the world: this work matters. These people matter. Pay attention. It's about learning.
When you give alongside people who are asking the same questions you are — how do I know this is effective? Where does the money actually go? — you get smarter, faster. It's about belonging.
In a world that can feel overwhelming and divided, the Giving Circle is a place where generous people find each other and do something real together. This is what membership makes possible.
